The University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient care. The 140-bed acute facility, plus its 33-bed Skilled Nursing Unit, provides general hospital, emergency, and specialized services. Its convenient outpatient centers for primary care, diagnostics, treatment, education, and rehabilitation are located throughout the mid-shore region. A new emergency department at Easton was opened in 2007 and includes an Express Care area to treat patients with less critical and urgent conditions.
